Tuesday is market day in Namuwongo. It's held along an old railway line. People bring their goods for the day, then pack up and go to the next community for the next day. Amazing. Some guys were carrying huge bundles!

Wow, love the riot of colour at the markets, your photos show happy people getting on with life, so different than what the media exposes. Are you sure Brian wants to come home?
ReplyDeleteYes Patrice, people are happy and are certainly friendly. We have been overwhelmed at times. We love it here but, at this stage we still plan to come home!!!
